Barry
Barry is a newspaper librarian for a daily paper in Denver, CO.
After graduating with his Master of Arts in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004, he spent a year in Fort Collins, CO performing all library duties as the College Librarian at CollegeAmerica. He also received his Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin.
Dave
Dave is a reference and instruction librarian at a university special collections library. He is also bibliographer for contemporary and modern poetry for the university library.
Dave received his MA-LIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his MA from the Poetics Program at SUNY Buffalo. Dave’s current professional interests are special collections outreach and instruction, collection development, and the history of poetry publishing in America. His most recent writings on libraries, poetry, or both are available or forthcoming in The Progressive Librarian, Chattahoochee Review, Crayon, and The Poetry Project Newsletter. He also publishes Answer Tag chapbooks and broadsides in limited editions.
Ginger
For the last seven years, Ginger has worked in a combination of public, academic, and special libraries. She began her career as a Children’s Associate for the North Austin branch of Chicago Public Library. While a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, she worked as a reference assistant in two academic libraries, the Cooperative Children’s Book Center and the Center for Instructional Materials & Computing, both of which serve the University’s School of Education. Prior to receiving her Master’s Degree, she assisted the Reading Room Director at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research in Madison, Wisconsin.
She is currently a Young Adult Librarian at a public library located just outside of Chicago. Her professional interests include promoting recreational reading to adolescents and teens, collection development, and understanding the changing needs of patron communities.
